Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam was an American pop and freestyle music group formed in 1984. The group consisted of lead vocalist Lisa Velez, also known as "Lisa Lisa," musician and producer Alex "Spanador" Moseley, and drummer and keyboardist Mike Hughes. The trio gained fame in the 1980s with hits such as "I Wonder If I Take You Home," "Head to Toe," and "Lost in Emotion."
Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's music combined elements of pop, freestyle, and dance music, making them popular in both mainstream and urban markets. They were known for their catchy hooks, energetic performances, and Velez's powerful vocals.
